Learn the Crochet Crunch Stitch with Two Colors – Video Tutorial
If you’re looking for a beautifully textured stitch that’s easy to learn and perfect for beginners, the crunch stitch is a must-try!
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to work the crochet crunch stitch using two colors, creating a stunning effect that adds dimension and interest to your project.

What is the Crunch Stitch?
The crunch stitch is a simple one-row repeat that alternates between half double crochet (hdc) and slip stitch (sl st) to create a tight, textured fabric. It’s a great stitch for blankets, scarves, and even dishcloths.
Why Use Two Colors?
Adding a second color to the crunch stitch makes the texture pop even more! In this tutorial, we’ll switch colors every two rows, allowing both shades to work together beautifully while keeping the pattern easy to follow.
