There’s something about fingerless gloves that feels like the perfect cozy-meets-practical crochet project.
You get warmth, comfort, and freedom to text, crochet, or sip your coffee without taking them off ☕.

These Tunisian Knit Stitch Fingerless Gloves are worked flat and then seamed, combining a classic crochet ribbed cuff with beautiful Tunisian knit stitch texture.
They’re easy enough for adventurous beginners and make an amazing handmade gift for anyone on your list (or just for you!).
The simple striping between Lion Brand Pound of Love and Roll With It Melange creates a subtle, modern look, and the stretch of the cuff makes them super comfortable to wear.
Let’s make them!

Materials
Yarn:
- Lion Brand Pound of Love in Sleet (Category 4, 100% acrylic) - approx 83 yards for 2 gloves
- Roll With It Melange in Showtime (Category 4, 100% acrylic) - approx 34 yards for 2 gloves
Hooks:
- 5 mm crochet hook (for ribbing, thumb edging, and top edging)
- 6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook (for glove body)
This is the 5.5 mm hook seen in my tutorial video and this is my favorite ergonomic hook set on Amazon.
This is the long Tunisian crochet hook I used in the video and this is my favorite Tunisian crochet hook set with cables.
Notions:
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Measuring tape

Pattern Notes
- Before beginning the cuff, leave a 40" tail. You’ll use it later for seaming and finishing.
- The gloves are worked flat, then folded and seamed.
- The Tunisian section alternates between Sleet and Showtime each row for soft striping.
- Fits an average adult hand. To make larger or smaller, adjust the number of rows in the cuff and in the number of knit stitch rows.
Abbreviations
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
BLO = back loop only
sl st = slip stitch
yo = yarn over
TKS = Tunisian knit stitch
RS = right side
WS = wrong side
