If you enjoy quick crochet projects that are both practical and beautiful, you’re going to love this textured crochet washcloth pattern.

This crochet washcloth pattern also works perfectly as a dishcloth. The finished cloth measures approximately 11 inches square, making it great for the kitchen, bathroom, or spa gift sets.
The textured Mixed Loop Stitch gives this crochet washcloth a lovely feel that is both soft and slightly scrubby, making it ideal for everyday use. The stitch pattern is simple to memorize and becomes wonderfully rhythmic once you get into the flow.

Best of all, this crochet washcloth pattern only uses one skein of cotton yarn, so it's perfect for using up yarn in your stash or making a set of handmade gifts.
For these cloths, I used four fresh cotton colors: Swan, Blush, Azure, and Lilac Mist. The colors look beautiful together and make this set of crochet washcloths feel bright and cheerful.

Yarn
I used Knit Picks Dishie for this crochet washcloth and dishcloth pattern.
Dishie is one of my favorite yarns for crochet dishcloths and washcloths because it is durable, absorbent, and shows stitch texture beautifully.
