The Getaway Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern – Easy Herringbone Texture

There’s something about having that one scarf you always grab as the weather cools down. The one that goes with just about everything, feels cozy without being bulky, and is always tossed into your bag when you’re on the go.

For me, that scarf is The Getaway Scarf.

It’s my travel companion, my everyday go-to, and the one I know will work no matter what I’m wearing. That’s how this scarf earned its name. It’s the scarf that goes everywhere with me.

This revamped version uses Loops & Threads yarn in Mustard with a 6.5 mm crochet hook. The stitch pattern is a simple yet stunning herringbone half double crochet worked in the back loop only, which gives it beautiful texture and drape.

The pattern is beginner-friendly, easy to memorize, and works up quickly. Whether you’re making it for yourself or as a gift, it’s one of those timeless scarves that will be worn season after season.
